### What is the problem the feature request solves?
According to latest AWS lab bench results https://awslabs.github.io/data-on-eks/docs/benchmarks/spark-datafusion-comet-benchmark#top-3-query-regressions
Q50 went too slow, need to explore what is causing it and if there is internal issue or config issue
