Upper phone bar showing battery and phone signal not visible using dark mode in iphone 8

# Bug Report

When using iPhone 8 with dark mode - on a real device or an emulator - the upper status bar is not visible due to having white font color and not changing it to black.

## Problem

Status bar check not visible, background should be black and text white

### What is expected to happen?

Text is visible

### What does actually happen?

The upper white bar appears with no readable text because there is no contrast.

Steps to reproduce:
- Set dark mode on ios config
- Open cordova ios app
- Observe upper white bar
- Set dark mode off
- Repeat steps
