State of bash completion feature?

Seems the CLI has a bash completion featured:

Unfortunately those files were last updated 5 years or 4 years ago. Does this still work as expected? If not, is it worth keeping around?

Inspect doc/bash.md and scripts/cordova.completion, then compare the completion entries with the current Cordova CLI commands and options. Verify whether the script still works as documented; done means reporting its current status and clearly recommending whether to update or remove the feature.
