Interoperability with https://istio.io/

first of all great work @davidjumani :)

The loadbalancer is not detected by istio.

Currently deployed with istio-1.12.0.

I am not sure about the requirements for making it work at this point but anyone thought about it ?

No source files or tests are named. Start by reproducing the Kubernetes LoadBalancer behavior with Istio 1.12.0 and the supplied service output, then trace how the provider handles load balancer detection; done means the Istio ingress gateway receives a detected external address instead of remaining pending.
