Compatibility matrix: should we add the maven version ?

In workshops, we always face some people having the wrong maven version for developing. I wonder if it would make sense to include in the compatibility matrix ?

Start by locating the compatibility matrix and reviewing the surrounding workshop or development documentation. Determine whether a Maven version is specified elsewhere, then update the matrix if appropriate. Done means the matrix clearly records the relevant Maven compatibility information.
