Change query box to match the pattern

As [reported here](https://www.reddit.com/r/dataisbeautiful/comments/9yg8w9/googles_autocomplete_visualized_like_a_graph_link/ea1y7st) - when pattern starts with a word, and not a `[query]` the input control doesn't render the first word in correct place.

Reproduce the issue with a pattern that starts with a word rather than [query], then locate the input-control rendering entry point. Compare the placement of the first word with the expected pattern behavior; done means the first word renders in the correct place.
