`cdi` remake

Hi @antonioolf ,
my name is Davide, I googled `cdi` and found your project. I liked it, but since I wanted to learn bash and since your project seems abandoned I decided to remake it from scratch.

I decided to publish it here [https://github.com/DavidBevi/cdi/](https://github.com/DavidBevi/cdi/) so I can show it and ask you if you'd like to work together; ideally only one `cdi` should remain, whichever makes the most sense!
