Downloadable skills

I was wondering if Claude Desktop/Cowork could support downloadable skills. Instead of uploading a ZIP file manually, we would just need to provide an URL and Claude would automatically fetch the files.
The advantage for skill providers would be to be able to update skills transparently and Claude Desktop/Cowork could check once in a while if the skill has been updated. The advantage for end users would be that they do not need to manually upload files.
