[BUG] Claude Code Extension change to how code text is quoted now means code is grey on grey cant read it!

What's Wrong?

Code blocks are now being displayed as grey text on grey background instead of the deep blue they have always been and now you cannot read the quoted strings unless you highlight them.

Since the last version update or the version before, code is now displayed as grey text on grey background, suddenly it changed one day from the deep blue background it has always been in the last few months anyway

Start by reproducing any code block or copyable string in Claude Code for VS Code, using extension identifier anthropic.claude-code version 2.1.273 on macOS Terminal.app. Compare the current grey text on grey background with the previously reported deep-blue presentation; done means quoted code is readable without highlighting.
