Description
Preflight Checklist
- I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
What's Wrong?
Private repositories on my account do not appear in the repo picker at
claude.ai/code. Public repositories on the same account appear and are
selectable. Searching a private repo by name returns "No repos match";
pasting the full repo URL also fails to resolve.
Setup
- GitHub username: Atreus-Technologies
- Account type: personal
- Claude GitHub App installed: yes, "All repositories"
- GitHub Integration connector in claude.ai Settings → Connectors: Connected
- Platform: Claude Code on the web (claude.ai/code)
What Should Happen
All repositories the Claude GitHub App has access to should appear in the
picker, public and private alike.
Already Tried
- Confirmed install scope is "All repositories"
- Added an initial commit to the repo (it is not empty; default branch exists)
- Scrolled the full picker list to force all pages to load, per #85249
- Pasting the repo URL directly
- Disconnecting and reconnecting the GitHub Integration connector
Request
This matches the personal-account private-repo indexing issue in #12839,
#18467, #33875, #68517 and #91416. Please trigger a backend repository
index reset for GitHub user Atreus-Technologies.
What Should Happen?
Claude tells me that action is needed from the Anthropic side to clear the cache.

Research direction
The report names no repository files, tests, or code entry points; it concerns private-repository indexing in the Claude Code web UI and requests a backend reset. Start by reproducing the repo-picker behavior with the listed GitHub App and connector setup, then trace the repository indexing path. Done means accessible private repositories appear and can be selected like public repositories.
Written by the indexing model from the issue text.
