Description
**Bug Description**
when configuring /permissions - recently denied: help text says "ESC to cancel", but doesn't mention how to save+exit. That leaves the user in a menu with no obvious way out to save changes.
Unfortunately, ESC *also* saves permissions, but this is undocumented and misleading and could result in unwanted permissions configured, since the user expects ESC to **cancel** changes.

Research direction
Start at the /permissions menu help text and verify the current ESC behavior for saving and canceling. The issue mentions no file or test, so locate the menu entry point first; done means the displayed instructions clearly distinguish how to save and how to cancel without misleading users.
