### What's Wrong?

Navigating to https://claude.ai/code brings me to https://claude.ai/code/onboarding which insists on "GitHub access is required for Claude Code on the web. Please contact an organization owner."

Why? I want to remote control existing sessions and the planned work has nothing linking to GitHub

Research direction

Start by reproducing the redirect from https://claude.ai/code to /onboarding with Claude Code 2.1.270 on macOS, then trace the onboarding check that requires GitHub access for an organization using Bitbucket. Done means remote control of existing sessions works without an unnecessary GitHub requirement.
