### Problem Statement
I'm trying to build and run a personalized print-on-demand Etsy shop with Claude's help, but currently there's no official or verified Etsy connector for Claude.ai. That means Claude can't see or act on my shop at all — I can't have it help me stand up new listings, research the market, or manage orders once they come in. Everything has to be copy-pasted in and out by hand, or routed through unvetted third-party tools that I'd rather not give my shop and customer data to.
### Proposed Solution
It would be great if Claude.ai could connect to Etsy (via the Etsy Open API v3) to help across the whole shop lifecycle — both building the shop and running it.
Building the shop:
- Create and draft new listings from scratch: titles, descriptions, tags, categories, pricing, variations, and images
- Help with listing SEO — keyword/tag research and optimizing titles and descriptions for Etsy search
- Suggest pricing based on category, materials, and comparable listings
- Set up shop sections, policies, and product organization
Running the shop:
- Read active/draft listings, orders, receipts, and transactions
- Help triage and draft responses to buyer messages
- Update existing listings in bulk (tags, prices, descriptions)
- Surface order status and fulfillment details
Ideally with per-user OAuth (no pasted API keys) and both read and write tool coverage.
### Alternatives Considered
I've tried third-party automation platforms (Zapier-style bridges) and a community-built read-only Etsy MCP connector. The automation tools don't actually let Claude reason over my shop conversationally, and the read-only connector can't help me create or update listings — which is exactly the part I need most when building the shop out. Neither is an Anthropic-verified option, so I'm hesitant to route shop and customer data through them.
### Area
MCP Connector (adding/managing servers)
### Priority
Critical - Blocking my MCP server development
### Additional Context
Etsy has a large seller base and a well-documented public API (Etsy Open API v3), so an official/verified connector seems very feasible. A verified connector would give sellers a trusted, one-click option instead of handing shop and buyer data to unvetted third parties. Write access (listing creation + updates) is the key piece — read-only options already exist but don't cover the build side.
