Every attempt to connect the CoCounsel Legal connector fails. In Settings > Connectors the connector is listed but stays in a "not connected" state. [Choose one: (a) When I press Connect, no Thomson Reuters sign-in or consent page ever appears; the error is shown immediately. / (b) The Thomson Reuters sign-in page opens and I sign in and authorize; after the redirect back to claude.ai the error is shown.] A first attempt earlier in September 2026 failed the same way. I have removed the connector and re-added it, and tested on a network other than my home network, with the same result.

My Thomson Reuters account has active CoCounsel Legal access and I can sign in to the CoCounsel web app normally. I have contacted Thomson Reuters support in parallel to confirm the MCP connector entitlement on my account.

### Expected behavior

After completing the Thomson Reuters sign-in, the connector shows as Connected and the CoCounsel Legal tools are available in conversations.
