Monitor tool not loading in SDK

We're trying to test out the new Monitor tool in the SDK. We are specifying it in the tool list but the init log for the SDK isn't showing it in the tool list. Not sure if there's something else we're missing, but should be on the latest version of the sdk that has the monitor tool added in claude code and it looks like the Monitor tool was listed to the SDK docs list of built-in tools.
