BackTop Not working with TabSet

I am using the BackTop button and I am not able to get it to move to the top when using a TabSet from in a component.
It doesn't show when outside of that component.

*Update - I am finding that once I click it will start scrolling bit by bit randomly and may pull focus away from the current form element and sometimes eventually gets to the to and sometimes quits. There is nothing in the console to go off of.

The API documentation for this component is also not very helpful. If you are able to point me to something I would happily contribute. I just don't have a lot of time at the moment but will look as I have time.
