Hello all,

I am trying to launch Mechanical on an HPC Cluster using SLURM and then execute a Python script.

[ansys-mechanical — PyMechanical](https://mechanical.docs.pyansys.com/version/stable/user_guide/cli/ansys-mechanical.html)

However, when I run the above CLI command, I encountered the attached error.

For reference, I have included the Python script, the Slurm submission script, and the log file for your reference.

Do you have any insights into why the command fails or any recommendations for further investigation?

Best regards,

Olia

Research direction

Start with the ansys-mechanical CLI documentation and compare Model.py, run_ansys.sh, and slurm-2168336.txt to identify where the Slurm launch fails. Reproduce the submitted command if possible; done means explaining the failure and providing an actionable recommendation or documentation update.
