Description
Feature hasn't been suggested before.
- I have verified this feature I'm about to request hasn't been suggested before.
Describe the enhancement you want to request
The feature request proposes adding autocomplete, autocorrect, and history-based suggestions to OpenCode.
Current issue:
-
Typing:
Users must manually type commands, file names, entity IDs, and YAML keywords because there is currently no autocomplete or autocorrect.
Autocomplete: Suggest commands (e.g., ls, grep), file names/paths, entity IDs, and YAML keywords.
Autocorrect: Automatically fix typos and provide suggestions when input is ambiguous.
History-based suggestions: Recommend commands used in previous sessions.
Expected benefits: Less typing, fewer errors, and higher productivity.
Especially useful for: Non-native English speakers, users working with complex entity IDs, and users dealing with long file paths. -
Copying limitation:
Users cannot easily copy text because selecting/highlighting text is either unavailable or not possible.
