[FEATURE]: Please let me disable auto-update on Desktop

I'm really upset and a bit heartbroken right now.

I was just trying to start a new conversation, but I accidentally hit the "Update" button sitting right next to it. The app immediately quit, restarted by itself, and my work was interrupted. One tiny misclick cost me my flow, and it honestly made my day much worse.

I've always had "autoupdate": false set in my config file, but it clearly does nothing for the Desktop app. The update still happens in the background no matter what I set.

I'm not asking for anything fancy. I just want a simple, working way to turn off auto-updates on Desktop so this never happens to me again. Please make the config actually work for Desktop, or add any option to disable it. This really matters to users like me who depend on this app for daily work.
