Description

Context: Today, July 31 2026, DeepSeek announced the formal version of DeepSeek-V4-Flash (checkpoint "DeepSeek-V4-Flash-0731", public beta): same structure/size as the preview, only retrained, with better agent capabilities (Terminal Bench 82.7, NL2Repo 54.2, Cybergym 76.7, DeepSWE 54.4, Toolathlon 70.3) and native Responses API support. Since the model ID deepseek-v4-flash did not change, I use OpenCode Go/Zen (opencode-go/deepseek-v4-flash) and do not know whether the gateway already serves the new checkpoint or still the preview.

Question

Is opencode-go/zen already serving DeepSeek-V4-Flash-0731, or still the preview? If not yet, is a gateway update planned, and on what timeline?
