Description
Hi 👋 The legacy Hex allowed me to use any key as a shortcut. I use keypad_period because why would anyone need it 🤷♂️
New Hex asks me to Add a modifier when I try I only press period ヽ༼ ಥ_ಥ༽ノ

Research direction
Reproduce the shortcut setup with keypad_period as the only key and compare it with the legacy Hex behavior described in the issue. Trace the shortcut validation or configuration entry point that requests a modifier, then verify that a single non-modifier key can be saved and used for dictation without breaking modifier-based shortcuts.
