Description

> Version: Anki Apple Silicon 25.02.5
> OS: MacOS Sequoia 15.3.1
> Steps to replicate:
>
> Add a new card
> Add an unordered list (bullet points), and write some text
> Press enter twice to exit out of the list, and write some more text
> Adding in-line MathJax now does not appear in-line, instead it appears in the line below.
>
> Another related bug:
>
> Write text interspersed with in-line MathJax
> Select and delete a section of this
> Undo
> Sometimes some of the MathJax will not reappear, or it will reappear in the wrong place
> I’ve not been able to replicate this with any consistency, but it does happen
> It seems this happens after triggering the first bug (and removing the inserted line breaks), when you have multiple sections of in-line MathJax in one line, with text between them, but since I can’t replicate with consistency I can’t say exactly when it happens, or even if these are conditions for the bug

Research direction

Start in the new-card editor by reproducing the unordered-list and inline MathJax steps on macOS, then test the related delete-and-undo sequence. Done means inline MathJax stays on the same line after leaving a list, and undo restores every MathJax section in its original position.
