Feeders: Advanced and File file format

I am trying to scan around 190 subsets. based on docs I understand I can use a Text file as a feeder. The documentation for feeders also suggests the use of "advanced" mode where I can declare the CIDR (10.0.0.0/24).

1. I am not able to find an "advanced" option in the feeder drop-down menu. should I choose "text" and it would understand a different file format?
2. Does anyone has a file format that i can use? By adding a text file with the IPs it only seems to work if I declare individual IPs on each line. If I use 10.0.0.1-200, it does run this scope or if I use CIDR it also does not run.
