Media3 1.5.0

More version details

We tested this with the stable 1.5.0 version, as well as with the latest main branch (commit 4d925bde811e3e8a2fd807f0d56c9d9434aad682).

Devices that reproduce the issue

Probably any device, but we saw the issue on:

  • Google Pixel 9 Pro, API 35 (emulator).
  • Google Pixel 7 Pro, API 35.
Devices that do not reproduce the issue

Basically:

  • Creates an ExoPlayer instance.
  • Set a PreloadConfiguration.
  • Set a repeat mode (either REPEAT_MODE_ONE or REPEAT_MODE_ALL).
  • Play a media.
Expected result

The media plays.

Actual result

The media doesn't play.

From what we could see in the EventLogger logs, the videoEnabled event is never sent.
