Description

Hello, in the latest Galaxy Watch 4 or Watch 6 with Wear OS 4, when I register PassiveListenerCallback or use PassiveDataService, watch starts measuring instantly (green diode flashing non-stop) and right away I'm continuously receiving new Heart Rate values (every few milliseconds - yes, filtering exactly like it is done in the sample).

There is definitely something wrong regarding Health Services and latest Wear OS 4 by Samsung.

Can you guys test it? I don't think PassiveData should act like Exercise Data on Wear OS 4.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the behavior on a Galaxy Watch 4 or Watch 6 running Wear OS 4, using the sample's PassiveListenerCallback or PassiveDataService. Compare the continuous Heart Rate updates and green-diode activity with the expected passive behavior and Exercise Data; done means confirming whether this is a Health Services platform issue or identifying a concrete sample problem.
