Handling of German umlaute

Descrizione
German umlaute are currently transformed by just removing diacritics. It would however make more sense to transform them the following way:
ä -> ae
ö -> oe
ü -> ue
ß -> ss
Ä -> Ae
Ö -> Oe
Ü -> Ue
