libsoundio not found when trying to build on a Raspberry Pi

When entering the npm run build command, it come backs with the error: npm install && ./build
I also have a problem with the make command on libgroove part 2. When I do the CMake command, it says that libsoundio is not found. This is for the Raspberry Pi. I have also noticed that the CMake and Make commands do not work for Raspbian Wheezy but work for Rasbain Jessie.
