subsonic looks like it's pretty much exactly trying to solve the same problem that groove basin is. They have an [API](http://www.subsonic.org/pages/api.jsp), which fills a role similar to the MPD protocol. We already support the MPD protocol. Maybe we should also support the subsonic API.
I see a couple android apps for subsonic - it might be cool for those to work with groove basin.
