Team Selection Fails on Spigot 1.20.1 with BedWars1058 v25.2 and Team Selector v0.7

Thank you for developing and maintaining the Team Selector addon. I am encountering an issue where the team selection functionality does not work as intended on my server.

​Description​
The plugin loads successfully without any errors in the console upon server startup. Players receive the team selector item upon joining the arena. However, when a player uses the item to select a team, the GUI closes but the player is not moved to the selected team. They remain in the lobby or are assigned to a random team when the game starts, effectively making the selector non-functional.

​Steps to Reproduce​
1.Join a BedWars1058 arena (waiting or starting state).

2.Receive the team selector item in the hotbar.

3.Right-click to open the team selection GUI.

4.Click on any available team.

5.Observe that the GUI closes.

6.Observe that the player's team does not change. The player name color and team assignment in the tab list remain unchanged.

​Expected Behavior​
After selecting a team from the GUI, the player should immediately be assigned to that team. Their player name color should update, and they should be teleported to the new team's spawn location (if applicable), and the team assignment should be reflected in the tab list.

​Actual Behavior​
The team selection action has no effect. The player is not assigned to the chosen team and remains on their original or a random team.

​Error Logs​
I have checked the logs/latest.logfile. The plugin loads without errors. However, when the team selection action is performed, No explicit ERROR messages appear in the console during team selection.

​What I've Already Tried​
1.I have confirmed that my BedWars1058 core version meets the minimum requirement of v21.2. (Please state your actual version here).

2.I have ensured that the server is running a compatible Java version (Java 16+).

3.I have tested with a default config.ymlfor the Team Selector addon.

4.The issue persists on a clean test server with only BedWars1058 and this addon. (If you have tested this, mention it. If not, it's a crucial next step).
