Download and Running Reallymine

Hello Everyone,

I have been working on downloading and running Reallymine after working with themacdoctor in trying to decrypt my WD 1.5tb hard drive (initiao chip) after it fell from my desk and damaged the board many years ago. I tried using themacdoctor's linux program using his posted instructions, but with my little knowledge with Linux, it proved too much for me. Here is my github thread listing the background.

After his help and my misunderstanding of the process, he recommended that I use Reallymine to decrypt the hard drive to retrieve my family photos stored on the hard drive.

My issue at this point is a failure to successfully install Reallymine. I acknowledge my limited understanding of Linux, however, I have been studying the language and have a very basic understanding of the Command line.

My issue is that, after trying multiple times to install Reallymine, after installing and setting the Go environment, I still am getting a "command not found" error after running the "go get github/andlabs/reallymine" command copied directly from the github install page (See below).


After running the recommended command line: reallymine decrypt /dev/sdb decrypted.img
from the page, I still receive the "command not found" error. (my WD HDD is mounted to the dev/sdb location).

I reinstalled and set up the Go environment using this page and ran the verification process.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated! I just want to recover my family's pictures and will never use a WD HDD again!
