What's the difference between this package & FormRequest validation?

Hi,

First thanks very much for this wonderful package, I appreciate it very much & I intend to contribute wherever suitable.

But as I'm trying out the main Repository package, I noticed there seems to be 2 tiers of validation, FormRequest & this Validator. I wonder if they each has their intended roles? Or maybe either one of them is already comprehensive enough to handle most validation cases?
