Keep pickadate open as a calendar

Hi,

Although picker.open() works to trigger open the calendar but when focused and then clicked anywhere else in the document, i.e. once focused and then blurred, it collapses.
Is there any way to prevent it without changing any css as I use pickadate in some other elements as a normal date selector.
