Previous month arrow in datepicker not shown as disabled in Firefox and IE 8/9

Although the previous button click is disabled for navigation if the current month == min month, the previous button is still shown black which kind of is not UI intutive. I can see the classes appearing in the DOM of both firefox and IE but the styles for picker__nav-prev--disabled are actually missing on inspecting the css.
