Add new function

Hi,
I am creating a locality search engine for Spain and when searching for localities with a tilde, amp-autocomplete is not able to find them if I write the locality with or without a tilde in the input. I would like a function to be created in which I can customize the filter so that I can search ignoring the accent marks and thus allow accent marks or not.
