描述
Dear AB Download Manager Team,
I’m a regular user of AB Download Manager and really enjoy its "ALL," "Finished," and "Unfinished" sections. As someone who downloads frequently, though, the expanding list can feel overwhelming. Right now, decluttering means deleting downloads from list, but I’d rather keep their details accessible without digging through File Explorer.
I suggest adding an **"Archived/History" section** where users can manually move completed downloads, removing them from "ALL" and "Finished" views while keeping records intact. This would:
Declutter active lists without losing download records ; items would be removed from "ALL" and "Finished," but still stored in the manager’s database.
1) Keep a central record of all past downloads, including details like URLs and completion dates.
2) Allow right-click (or multi-select) to Archive finished downloads into the new section.
3) Include an Unarchive option to move items back to "Finished" and "ALL" if needed.
4) Offer an optional setting to auto-archive after a set time (e.g., 30 days post-completion).
5) Support the same search and filter options in "Archived/History" as in other sections for easy browsing.
6) Keep "ALL" and "Finished" focused on recent or active downloads while preserving a full, searchable history elsewhere.
7) Allow the archive to be filtered into categories like All and Finished (with subtypes such as videos, compressed files, etc.) for easier browsing.
This would make organization smoother and enhance the user experience. I hope you consider it! Thanks!
