## Spark
Finished the Root: The Roleplaying Game Clearing Booklet, recorded in the
Notion Media Log during the 2026-08-22 digest check-in — in the same week
that two Root Quickstarts went onto the reading list and
`woodland-generators`, the Foundry module that generates Root content,
took CI work.
## Why it could be interesting
A supplement whose job is to generate content, read by someone building a
generator for the same content. The review has an angle the usual
sourcebook writeup doesn't: whether the booklet's procedures are good
enough to hand to a machine, and what they assume a human at the table
supplies that the machine cannot.
## Open questions
- [ ] Recommend it or not, and to whom — players, GMs, or people building
tools against it?
- [ ] What is the one claim the review argues, with the evidence?
- [ ] Does the woodland-generators angle belong in the review, or is it a
separate post about implementing the procedures? Two posts is
likely the honest answer.
- [ ] Is the Clearing Booklet reviewable on its own, or only against the
Core Book (still Active)?
