Description

If (I am unsure if two-factor authentication can be disabled) you attempt to sign into your Apple Account while in remote server mode, it will ask for a six-digit code. This code cannot be attained, as it does not appear on any of the devices linked to the apple account. It also requires two-factor authentication, unlike with a manual cable connection; no two-factor authentication prompt would occur when signing in when linking to a computer cable.

Research direction

No file or test is named; start by reproducing Apple Account sign-in in remote server mode and compare it with the manual cable flow. Investigate why the remote flow requests a six-digit two-factor code that is not delivered, and consider the behavior complete when remote setup handles authentication consistently with the supported account flow.
