Description

Hi, I’m having an issue with AltStore on iOS 26.4.

After installing AltStore via AltServer (Windows), the app installs successfully and shows up on my iPhone. I trusted the developer profile in Settings, but when I try to open AltStore, it only shows a black screen for a second and then closes immediately.

What I already tried:
Reinstalling AltStore multiple times
Resetting “Location & Privacy”
Restarting iPhone and PC
Using AltServer as administrator
Using both latest and older AltServer versions
Verifying the app in Settings
Nothing worked, the issue persists.

Other sideloaded apps (like Instagram) were working before, but AltStore itself cannot be opened at all.

Device info:
iPhone model: 15
iOS version: 26.4
AltServer: Windows

It seems like this might be related to iOS 26.4, because I’ve seen similar reports. Any help would be appreciated.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the AltStore launch failure on an iPhone 15 running iOS 26.4, installed through AltServer on Windows, after trusting the developer profile. Check whether the black screen and immediate crash can be reproduced consistently; done means AltStore opens successfully on the reported setup.
