Description

Could not Install LiveContainer+SideStore.ipa to iPhone. Idid.cpp(2376):_assert(): DiskFolder:Open(Frameworks\SideStoreApp.framework\SideStoreApp.framework\Frameworks\AltStoreCore.framework\Info.plist)

Image
  • One of the lead contributors to LiveContainer states here that it is not a LiveContainer issue.
  • This is off of a fresh AltServer windows install from the official website
  • Sideloadly installs the same SideStore+LiveContainer.jpa build with no problems.
  • AltServer installs the latest LiveContainer.ipa build (without SideStore) with no problem.
  • Two different AppleIDs tested, both cause the same error
  • The exact build according to the bottom of the LiveContainer settings pane, is 3.6.52-Release (main/cd534bd)

Research direction

Start by reproducing the LiveContainer+SideStore IPA installation on the Windows AltServer setup and capture the ldid.cpp assertion at Frameworks\SideStoreApp.framework\SideStoreApp.framework\Frameworks\AltStoreCore.framework\Info.plist. Compare the failing AltServer install with the successful Sideloadly install and the standalone LiveContainer install; done means the combined IPA installs successfully without this assertion.
