Description

I payed on my old iPhone using Apple Pay and installed easily the complex way necessary.

Now, new phone:
I did the main phone migration process from Apple. It showed the app icons of AltStore but did not continue to install it. Obviously, Apple did not give an error message or anything.

Okay well, then I thought, I'd just install it again by going to your website. Unfortunately there I can only start from the beginning, by paying again. This should not be it. What if a reset of a phone is done? And how is it possible to end the subscription if I have to start a new one?!

Please fix this and provide documentation. Let me know how I can help here :)

Research direction

No file or test is identified in the issue. Start by tracing the existing Apple Pay purchase and subscription flow, focusing on restoring access after an iPhone migration or reset. Done means an existing purchaser can install AltStore on a new phone without paying again, can manage cancellation, and has documentation for the recovery process.
