説明
Woodwork's current documentation includes a guide providing an overview of types and tags as well as a guide for how to customize the type system and type inference. To complement these guides, a new guide that explains how type inference works would be beneficial.
Topics that could be covered:
- How does Woodwork identify the logical type for a column?
- What types can be inferred by default? What types must be specified?
- What significance to relationships have between logical types?
- What happens if no inference matches are found?
- What happens if multiple inference matches are found?
