When inserting new in-text citation, the hyperlink disables

First of all, thank you so much for creating this macro — it’s incredibly useful, and I’ve already recommended it to my department.

I’ve noticed, however, that every time I update a document with a new in-text citation, the hyperlink for that citation disappears, and I need to re-run the macro across the entire document. This can be quite time-consuming, as I have over 600 in-text citations linked to their bibliography.

Is there any way to ensure that new citations remain linked to their corresponding bibliography entries after the macro has been run?
