Fake Clock Improvement

Hi,

In order to improve the testing of the examples and the smoke tester, the fake clock should have the possibility to be stopped after a specific set of iterations or after a target end time.

This will make it easy to add unit testing for the smoke tester and for the examples.

What are your thoughts?
