App won't start on Android

I'm trying to get phonertc integrated with Meteor. As soon as I include the phonertc plugin, however, the app won't start on my Nexus 7 anymore. Without the plugin, the app starts up fine. Since I am running Meteor, I don't get any error messages whatsoever which I could provide. Any idea why this plugin prevents app startup altogether?
