Document and/or spawn separate repo for data retrieval

A couple of issues have come up related to retrieving data (#114, #117).

Fieldmanager isn't concerned with how data is retrieved and used. That said, it would still be nice to provide a library of helpers that a developer could include with their plugin/theme. Not sure yet if this should be its own WordPress plugin or a library intended to be included within another codebase.
