Hi,
We like the simplicity of Ralph. We have a large company using this. We also have multiple customers that are independent of each other that we want to track inside one Ralph database.
Is there any plans for multi-tenency (more than one customer tracked inside 1 DB)? There's several areas that would need to be touched if so:
1) Allowing of Duplicate IPs - need a customer table with custId and have that be part of the network Names's "unique" key.
2) Allowing two hosts to have the same IP
3) Adding customer drop downs. Adding Locations within customers (e.g. San Jose office)
4) Using the custID as a field for all the tables so that you can have identical hostnames, IPs, networks, etc.
This also would be seen in labs in larger companies where each lab admin has a NAT to the production...and half use the 192.168.1.0/24 (or 10.1.1.0/24) network as one of their networks.
Today, when adding a network with identical CIDR, it fails.
