AnyProxy not working at all

Anyproxy on windows, latest version.
Expected behavior: anyproxy responds to connections offsite

Actual behavior:
attempted to connect to anyproxy from device (android & ios) through the internet (not LAN) and anyproxy did not work or respond to device.

no error logs, just net::ERR_PROXY_CONNECTION_FAILED.

is it just that anyproxy does not work on wan?
