[BUG] Use load balancer in CI, node port is bit hacky

**Describe the bug**

Minikube and kind both have some load-balancer plugins, which would be more consitent with user's developing/production environments.

Start by locating the CI configuration that currently uses a node port, then review how Minikube and kind provide load-balancer plugins. Done means the CI setup uses a load-balancer path that better matches development and production environments on both platforms.
