Unable to express an arbitrary depth optional match

Currently we can only express matches to files/file-patterns through a directory structure.

This request is to be able to express part of a pattern as "everything inside this folder to arbitrary depth".

You can express "every file inside of just this folder" with a Directory with file pattern "*", but that doesn't recurse into included directories.
