As DCT is being deprecated for Docker Official Images, we removed the verification of base images in 3fbf9ebed6d340359e63c821bd31bfe8b568d8e8
Docker recommends transitioning to alternative image signing and verification solutions such as [Sigstore](https://www.sigstore.dev/) or [Notation](https://github.com/notaryproject/notation#readme).
Migration guides will be published by Docker soon. When it happens, the base image verification needs to be added again to our build process.
